| Bio: | Me, in ten points:
1. I like old stuff. Old clothes, old papers, old books, old friends. Old people kind of freak me out, because they're always asking me if 1) married, 2) engaged, or 3) planning to become so any time soon. I guess I look settled. Or like an old maid, which would make sense, since I like old stuff.
2. I can hogtie a calf.
3. Sometimes, when I'm cooking dinner, I pretend I'm a TV chef. Usually Anthony Bourdain or Nigella Lawson.
4. My cat might be the antichrist, but he's too lazy to really apply himself.
5. I chew my ice cubes. It's not pica; I just like crushed ice.
6. If you ever want to buy me a drink, here's what you've got to know: White Russians are delicious, likewise Cosmopolitans and sweet white wines, but red wine gives me a headache and beer tastes like dirty feet.
7. The curtains in my bedroom look like they could be part of a duck-hunting blind. Beige background, olive drab/brown falling leaves, mottled sand-colored pattern. I didn't pick them out.
8. I know they could be part of a duck-hunting blind because I helped my friend build one once. I don't know if he killed any ducks while using it, but the drapes were fabulous.
9. I prefer to write with a fine-point gel ink pen. Black only. If I ever become filthy rich, I will write on nothing but the most expensive cold-pressed, watermark-laden, feels-like-butter-against-your-skin paper and a $1.29 Papermate pen. (OK, so the pen was actually three dollars for a pack of two.)
10. One day I will build a castle. And melt it with a garden hose.
